MonkeyPox Detection — ML Pipeline (ViT) (2024-11 – 2025-03)

• Built an innovative end-to-end ML solution in Python for automated skin lesion classification — independently learning and applying Vision Transformer (ViT) architecture as a new technology to solve a real-world medical problem.
• Developed, tested, and optimised the pipeline iteratively — troubleshooting model performance issues and applying data augmentation techniques to achieve 87.69% average accuracy across 5-fold cross-validation.
• Documented all development decisions, test results, and findings clearly — demonstrating strong technical communication and adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

AI-Powered Recommendation System (2025-01 – 2025-04)

• Designed and built a two-stage recommendation system in Python combining collaborative filtering and Generative AI (GPT-Neo LLM) — applying cutting-edge technologies to deliver a working, end-to-end software solution.
• Continuously learned and applied new tools (HuggingFace Transformers, LLM prompt engineering) throughout the project — independently upskilling to meet evolving technical requirements at each stage.

AI Interview Copilot (2025-05 – Present)

• Developed a full-stack AI Interview Copilot with a React.js frontend and a FastAPI/PostgreSQL backend, taking ownership of the backend design within a modular client-server architecture.
• Designed and implemented RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy ORM — handling request validation, business logic, and efficient database operations.
• Built secure user authentication with registration, login, and profile management using JWT-based authorization, following secure coding best practices.
• Implemented resume upload, interview history, and analytics modules with scalable PostgreSQL database integration and optimised schema/query design.
• Structured the backend for future AI features including resume-based interview generation, personalised feedback, and ATS analysis — applying analytical thinking to plan for extensibility.
