Dr. Chinmayee Mestry

I'm an Ayurvedic physician and healthcare professional working at the intersection of healthcare, research, doctor education, clinical systems and entrepreneurship. My journey began with clinical Ayurveda and postgraduate training in Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana (Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics and Drug Design), building a strong foundation in formulation research and evidence-oriented practice. Over time, my work expanded from treating individual patients to exploring a larger question: How do we turn healthcare knowledge into systems that doctors can implement consistently and patients can experience meaningfully?

In my current work with the Madhavbaug ecosystem and Dynamic Remedies, I work across doctor onboarding and education, clinical program implementation, protocol standardization, therapeutic positioning, patient journeys and outcome-oriented healthcare delivery. I particularly enjoy taking complex or fragmented processes and turning them into structured, repeatable systems—whether that means a clinical protocol, doctor education program, patient journey, healthcare campaign or a new clinic experience. Alongside healthcare, I am also the founder of BTTR – Back to the Roots Ayurveda, where I explore product ideation, formulation experimentation, R&D, personal care and consumer wellness.

My research background continues to shape how I approach both products and healthcare. My work includes research in Ayurvedic formulations and analytical methods, scientific paper presentations, research awards and a publication on the elemental analysis and preparation of Vida Lavan. I started with medicine.

I moved into research. Research led me into formulation and product development. Clinical practice showed me the complexity of healthcare delivery. Working with doctors revealed the importance of education and systems.

Entrepreneurship taught me how to build. Now, I'm interested in the intersection of all of them: building better healthcare systems from knowledge to real-world implementation.

Working within the Madhavbaug healthcare ecosystem with a focus on doctor education, clinical program implementation, protocol standardization and healthcare systems.

• Support onboarding and education of doctors within the Madhavbaug Associate Model.
• Work on translating Ayurvedic principles and clinical protocols into structured, reproducible approaches for real-world practice.
• Contribute to the standardization and implementation of diabetes and cardiovascular health programs, with emphasis on protocol adherence and measurable patient outcomes.
• Work closely with doctors to understand clinical challenges, improve implementation and strengthen continuity between doctor training, treatment protocols and patient outcomes.

Founder at BTTR: BACKTOTHEROOTS AYURVEDA (2024-02 – 2025-10)

Founded and developed BTTR – Back to the Roots Ayurveda, a consumer wellness and personal-care venture inspired by classical Ayurvedic knowledge and adapted for modern consumers.

• Led product ideation, formulation experimentation and R&D across personal care, skincare, haircare and wellness.
• Worked across ingredient research, formulation development, product positioning and early-stage brand building.
• Explored how traditional Ayurvedic ingredients and concepts can be translated into relevant, contemporary consumer products.
• Built and tested products from concept through early commercialization.
• Developed the brand while independently navigating product development, consumer needs, business decisions and market positioning.
