Dr Damini Beniwal

Dr. Damini has over five years of experience in health systems strengthening, program implementation, and healthcare administration. She began her career with the National Health Mission (NHM), Government of Uttarakhand, as a State Child Health Consultant, where she supported the implementation and monitoring of initiatives such as Anemia Mukt Bharat.

In this role, she conducted monthly child health reviews and facilitated quality improvement in Special Newborn Care Units (SNCUs). Her responsibilities included regular field visits to CHCs, PHCs, and sub-centers to monitor service delivery, provide technical support, and strengthen labor rooms and newborn care units. She also worked closely with ASHAs, ANMs, and Medical Officers to enhance service quality and conducted capacity-building sessions with facility heads.

Later, as a Divisional Coordinator, she expanded her efforts to a broader level—leading field assessments, mentoring staff, and coordinating with district health teams to improve maternal and child health outcomes. She then joined Max Hospital as a Patient Care Coordinator, where she supported patient flow management, coordinated between clinical and non-clinical departments, assisted in resolving patient grievances, and ensured smooth hospital operations with a focus on patient satisfaction. Currently, Dr.

Damini is working at Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon, as part of the Medical Administration Team.
