I am a Post Graduate in Rural Management (1998-2000), from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi and PGDHRD (2007) from IGNOU. Also awarded Ph.D. (2011) on the participation of tribal women in development programs, (research Area-Jharkhand). With more than 20 years of managerial experience in social development sector (INGO & Corporate), I have worked with ACC-Ltd. (LAFARGE HOLCIM Group) as Regional Head, India-East, as General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) including in-charge of Liaison and Land Acquisition. In past I have worked with CARE–India (INGO- USAID funded project) as Program Officer.
Having experience in the field of Skill building, Education, Health, Employability, SHG, Low Cost Housing, Land and Water Mgnt, Disaster Mgnt, R&R, Land Acquisition and other Development Projects. My Job responsibilities included Policy Formulation, strategic Planning, CSR Management, MIS & Budgeting, Program/Project Mgnt., Community Dev., Liaison, Stakeholder management, Land Acquisition and Statutory Compliance.
I have also worked for IGNOU as Part time Faculty and Counselor of Rural Development (Master in RD and PGDRD) and taught for five years.
As a trainer I have imparted training to govt. officials in State Inst. of Rural Development, Jharkhand. I have done journalism based on social issues as a stringer for Five Years.
I have experience of disaster management as I have worked for Flood Relief, TSUNAMI Relief, Kashmir Earthquake Relief and Odisha Cyclone Relief Operation.
