(2025-04-30)
Centre which formulates national-level evidence-based clinical practice guidelines through systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Work profile involves oversight of systematic reviews and evidence grading followed by writing and documentation.
- Ensuring that the TRC's (Technical resource hubs) in their reviews rigorously stick to the PICO decided by the GDG and also follow the SOP provided by the department
- Ensuring that the reviews capture essential information such as study design, population characteristics, intervention details, comparators, outcomes, effect measures, sample size, duration etc subject to the critical outcomes of the specific question
- Ensuring the correctness of systematic literature searches, screening strategies, PRISMA plots, characteristic tables, respective effect measures and relevancy and authenticity of forest plots and its effect measure values
- Validating the extraction and critical appraisal of data using standardized tools (e.g. Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool)
- Coordinating for revision process as and when required, before the evidence profile meeting
- Working closely with evidence synthesis teams, guideline methodologists, and statisticians to ensure methodological accuracy
- Accurately recording deliberations and rationale behind recommendations during guideline development group (GDG) meetings
- Drafting background documents pertaining to Summary of Findings (SoF) frameworks, evidence-to-decision (EtD) frameworks to support transparent decision-making and final guideline documentation
- Ensuring factual accuracy, coherence, and clarity across all documentation and annexures
- Providing technical input to other guideline-related projects or collaborations
- Facilitating expert group meetings and technical consultations

HRD Division which drives India's biomedical research capacity through structured fellowship and funding programs. Work profile involves scientific and technical oversight of implementing schemes, drafting applications, proposal review, committee coordination, and performance evaluation.
- Scientific and Technical Oversight of implementing schemes under the Department of Health Research (DHR)
- Drafting applications and calls for proposals as per the scheme's guidelines to be issued or advertised by the department – a new funding scheme to cater fresh PhD's was to be made which was later on delivered as START UP GRANT with modified eligibility criteria
- Conducted initial evaluations of applications and proposals to ensure eligibility and alignment with the scheme and Human Resource Development (HRD) guidelines – as done for SUG-2024-25 scheme
- Reorganizing Technical Evaluation Committee and Approval Committee followed by their meetings for detailed proposal assessments and approvals – as done for SUG-2024-25 scheme, to find out people of relevant expertise in order to cater the wide domain of received project proposals
- Obtaining solicit performance-cum-achievement reports, annual evaluations, expert committee recommendations and timely follow-ups for smooth project completions – as done for women scientist scheme (WSS), young scientist scheme (YSS), Start-up grant scheme and support to institute scheme through emails on a daily basis
- Addressing the technical queries pertaining to extensions, fund utilization, institute or mentor change requests etc through Gov e-office file noting system
- Making end to end communications with relevant authorities and project investigators (enquirer) while maintaining due transparency and accountability
- Ensuring periodic data reporting to ministries pertaining to Outcome Output Monitoring Framework (OOMF) and progress of concerned schemes
