Adding the servers to SOX security Tripwire console to monitor unathorized logins.

Works on Hardware replacement on HP, DELL, UCS cisco blades with vendors and onsite Team help.

Works on Kickstart and configuration management tools (puppet, Ansible) to automate system builds.

Uses Redhat Satellite server to configure the repos inorder to patch the servers with latest updates.

Builds servers in VMWare environment as per customer requirement & Handling servers after done with post build activities.

Works on Compute part of VMware like CPU,RAM,DISKS,VMOTION,HA,DRS,FT adding and removing the resources.

Joins weekly meetings and P1, P2 discussion calls where every priority tickets are discussed.

Strong skills in decision-making & maintains Veeams back up report to reclaim the unused CPU,RAM,DISK and delete unwanted snaphosts.

Passion and accountability for the environment i responsible for in micron.

Provides technical direction & escalation for technologies maintained within Unix/Linux compute space.

Maintains global collaboration with other Micron IT operations teams, internal and external to I&O.

Drives innovation and automation of computer solutions both internally and for our customers.

Uses scripting languages and tools to automate tasks, system builds, and change management (Ansible, puppet, Bitbucket)

Monitor overall health of the Unix/Linux environment with an emphasis on proactive discovery of potential issues

Develops kickstarts for deployment into production environment

Continuously work to improve Linux compute environment.

Works with Change management team to make the changes approved and provides RFC's for the issues.
