I am Gamana G, a passionate and highly motivated Biotechnology student from Palakkad, Kerala, currently pursuing B.Sc. Biotechnology at Nehru Arts and Science College under Bharathiar University. I have a strong academic background with 85% in my degree, 80.3% in Higher Secondary Education, and 95% in Secondary Education.
I have practical laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA isolation, RNA isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, fluorescent microscopy, and microbiology techniques. I am also familiar with bioinformatics tools including NCBI, BLAST, Clustal W, UniProt, PyMOL, and AutoDock, along with MS Office applications.
I completed a Molecular Biology Internship at Xcellogen Biotech Pvt. Ltd., where I gained hands-on experience in DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, and gel electrophoresis. I also worked as a Medical Coding Intern at Internz Learn, learning ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and revenue cycle management.
Currently, I am working on a project titled “Extraction of Biopolymers from Bacteria,” where I am developing experience in microbiological handling and laboratory experimental techniques.
I have also published a research paper titled “Neuroplasticity in the Adult Brain: Mechanisms, Adaptive Functions, and Maladaptive Outcomes” in the Journal of Advance and Future Research.
In addition, I have participated in several conferences and workshops related to biological sciences, nanomaterials, CRISPR, drug designing, and DNA fingerprinting. My strengths include analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.
