Backend & AI Infrastructure Engineer (Contract) at Züs (2025-10 – 2026-05)

• Benchmarked the company's S3-compatible storage against AWS S3 Standard and S3 Express on a 10 TB TPC-DS dataset with Spark and ClickHouse; built a reproducible suite and ran 20+ benchmarks.
• Found and fixed an S3 list pagination bug within 4 hours, which unblocked the benchmark.
• Showed the GPU sat idle about 90% of training time waiting on data; built ZusFS, a Python-to-Go data loader that passed 134 FSSpec tests.
• Built a cluster-provisioning backend in Go and PostgreSQL with a job queue, status tracking and Terraform on AWS.

Lab Assistant (ML & Data Engineering) at sftwtrs.ai (2024-12 – 2025-06)

• Built a pipeline on GCP that moved 200 GB+ (147 million MongoDB documents) to Parquet and loaded it into BigQuery and ClickHouse.
• Built a face-recognition system as gRPC microservices (ONNX, Docker Compose) with real-time YOLO object detection on video.
• Built an AutoML platform MVP with FastAPI, API auth, usage metering, Stripe billing and a job queue.

AI/ML Engineering Intern at sftwtrs.ai (2023-12 – 2024-12)

• Prepared Indic-language data and fine-tuned Llama 3 with LoRA; built Python scrapers and deployed a web app with DNS-based failover.
