• Overseeing Shipments: Ensure the safe and timely shipment of merchandise, including managing the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Coordination: Establish and maintain communication with suppliers, custom brokers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Scheduling: Set up delivery routes and arrange product pickups and deliveries with transportation companies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety rules, DOT standards, and other relevant regulations.
• Team Management: Direct the activities of warehouse and transportation staff, and develop positive relationships with all personnel involved in logistics operations.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot delivery issues and optimize order fulfillment processes.
