Test yarn quality parameters like count, CSP/strength, RKM, twist (TPI/TM), U%, CV%, imperfections and hairiness.
Perform routine sampling and testing at different stages of spinning like- Blow room, carding, ring frame etc.
Monitor lab test results against specified standards and customer requirements.
Identify quality deviations and immediately inform the production/QA concerned persons.
Maintain test reports, records and calibration status of laboratory equipment.
Ensure lab instruments are properly calibrated and verified.
Conduct shade/appearance and contamination checks, where applicable.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, testing standards and safety requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and communicate critical results to management.
