• Conducting legal research to support senior lawyers or prepare arguments. Drafting legal documents, such as notices, pleadings, motions, agreements, and email correspondence.
• Assisting with evidence gathering and case investigation, including document review, witness interviews, and fact-finding. Managing and organizing case files and maintaining case records.
• Preparing exhibits, case summaries, and briefing notes for senior advocates or courts. Attending court hearings, arbitrations, or client meetings (often just observing or taking notes at first).
• Communicating with clients, sending updates, and addressing simple queries under supervision. Negotiating small settlements or participating in mediation processes (under guidance).
