Graphic Designer & Children's Book Illustrator

I am a passionate illustrator and designer specialising in visual storytelling and character design, with a strong interest in creating engaging and purposeful visual communication. I particularly enjoy using illustration to communicate emotion, identity and representation, with a growing focus on children's publishing. Through my First Class Honours degree in Graphic and Digital Design, I developed my approach to illustration beyond storytelling, exploring how visual communication can be applied across editorial design, branding and publishing.
My final major project was a children's picture book, which I continue to develop following my graduation. I am also currently developing two further children's book projects, allowing me to build my understanding of the creative process from initial concepts and character development through to designing a complete book. I am now looking to bring my creative, detail-focused and adaptable approach to the Art Department at Penguin Michael Joseph.
