Roles & Responsibilities
- Project coordinator for Export & Domestic projects from Engineering side
Taketoyo (Japan) 1070 MW, Mahagenco (Maharashtra) 660 MW,
GRDA (USA) 250 MW, Tuas Z City (Singapore) 78 MW.
- Timely submission of manufacturing drawings (Part & Assembly), GA drawings and Bill of materials to meet design requirement in line with specifications.
- Timely submission of 3D modeling of blades, LP casing , Diapharagm, seal ring, inner ring.
- Technical support for steam turbine components at various manufacturing stages.
- Resolution of major and minor non-conformities of rotating & stationary components.
- Disciplined approach for project documentation
- Supplier evaluation for Indigenization/First Article Components.
- Identify potential saving opportunities through value engineering.
- Detail contract assessment – Negotiation with customer for deviations.
- Root cause analysis study for non-conformities
- Coordination with cross functional team for smooth and timely completion of project.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and specification.
- Assign & review project deliverables with subordinates.

- Optimization of steam turbine blade design (T root to Hybrid type) to save manufacturing time.
- Indigenization and standardization of seal strip used in HP, IP and LP turbine.
- Indigenization of alternate vendor for L-1R and L-2R forging.
- Design and Detail engineering of 130 ton Rotor Lifting Beam.
- Design and Detail engineering of HP, IP and LP turbine rotor container.
- Omission of telemetry test for LP turbine blades by reverse engineering.

- Performance guarantee test team member for thermal mapping,
cycle isolation, condition monitoring of complete plant layout of TG set as per PTC-6
- Technical support for application of Thermal insulation on turbine casing, valves and piping.
- Technical support during erection of HP & LP Turbine enclosure
