Responsible for the overall functioning of Bank Reconciliations spanning across Daily Bank Reconciliations, Daily Ledger Reconciliations processing & Suspense Reconciliations. Handling end to end Issuing and Acquiring activities (Visa, Master & Local switch of Africa).

Handling

Base2 process and processing the issuing and acquiring reports for daily settlement. Managing issuing and acquiring reconciliations. Process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Process gaps and implementing adequate measures to streamline processes. Actively involved in Business Process Reengineering, understanding business requirements and liaising with the software technology team for execution. Ensuring that the team is consistently meeting and surpassing the key performance indicators as per the agreed SLA.

Preparing & compiling various weekly/monthly MIS reports pertaining to process and reporting to Business Heads. Ensuring that the team is consistently meeting to Fraud, Compliance, Information security and Record Management policies through Constant interaction with the compliance, Legal and product teams. Conceiving, developing & defining risk framework (also known as Risk and Control Self Assessment) for the entire unit and ensuring process controls are in place to mitigate those risks.

Setting out quality standards for various operational areas & regularly monitoring process transactions for quality & calibration checks, ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Understanding and analyzing the business requirements; developing / implementing processes in line with pre-set guidelines. Conducting process-benchmarking studies to compare the processes with processes of other entities handling similar processes.

Actively involved in execution of process change control.
