I’m a hard-working team player who takes ‘no’ for an answer. I believe that anything can be solved, my previous employers will testify to this statement without a doubt. I have been in Electronics and Biomedical engineering sector since 1994, I started off initially as a Telecommunication technician then I was able to diversify my carrier towards ‘Consulting Biomedical Engineer ’; especially in ‘Medical Equipment Management maintenance and Capacity Building’, which gives me a considerable capacity to work with people in different areas in Biomedical Engineering Technology.

I enjoy working with biomedical equipment and helping to save the life with technology. I will be a great asset to a Biomedical Engineering group that is trying to accomplish any task with difficulty ranging from small to any size since I haven’t given up in the past and I’m not ready to give up now. I’m more than sure that I can be a great help to your organization and assignments.

• I have strengthened the capacity of the Medical Equipment Department of the Ministry of Health in the area of organizational setup, capacity building, policy development, and implementation.
• Carrying out the maintenance and repair activities for Health Posts, Community Health Hubs, District Hospitals, Referral Hospitals, and National hospitals in Dili.
• Developed the medical equipment maintenance strategy and physical assets management plan for the Ministry of Health and Establish central, referral, and facility-level maintenance and repair (M&R) workshops in the central regional, districts, and health facilities in the country.
• Developed and updated the essential equipment list for all levels of health facilities in the country with brief specifications and a list of spare parts required.
• Updated the equipment inventory list and establish an appropriate equipment database which includes the report -ing system for medical equipment maintenance problems.
• Developed the training modules for major equipment and conduct in-country training for the Ministry of Health and facility-level maintenance staff.
• Assisted with the technical aspects of medical equipment procurement including the development of specifications, bidding documents, bid evaluation, and contract award.
• Carried out equipment inspection, testing, and certification of acceptance for newly procured/donated equipment, spare parts, and biomedical equipment consumables.
• conducted an orientation course for management staff and supervisors of the health facilities on equipment use, maintenance and repair need, inventory, and reporting systems.
• Assist to the MoH and Facility In-charge to check the stored equipment and prepare the disposal list.
• Carrying out an assessment for maintenance and repair training for facility staff and recommending both in-country and overseas training.
• Updating and keeping the equipment-wise Operation and Maintenance Manuals and conducting training for their application.

• Produced the Medical Equipment policies and user level Manuals for the ministry of Health RDTL.
• Updated current Analogue Radiology (Imagine) System to a Digital and Computerized system.
