As I’m having vast Gulf experience in the field of Oil and Gas, Refineries, Desalination and Power plant and Civil Engineering and EPC Contracting companies etc. I have worked in Middle East with reputed organizations like Saline Water Conversation Corporation (Desalination & Power Plant) and Saudi ARAMCO in KSA and later joined Douglas OHI LLC (An Interserve UK Company) at Sultanate of Oman as Corporate HSSE Manager.
More than 29 years of experience with emphasis on Safety Management and coordination responsibilities. Combined hands-on and senior managerial experience in Health, Safety Sustainability, Environmental and Risk Management in all facets of oil and gas, desalination and power plant, petrochemical, refineries and construction industries. Following a long stint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as HSE Coordinator/Safety Specialist, I began my career in Oman as Corporate QHSSE Manager and experiencing multi-disciplinary team and multi-site operations.
Demonstrated excellence in Quality Environmental, Sustainability, Health and Safety (QEHSS) Management System mirrored with an extensive track record of achievement and often exceeding exceptions of corporations. I’ve promoted from the Project QHSSE Manager position to the new role of Corporate QHSSE Manager for all of Douglas OHI projects in the Capital, Muscat and Interior.
In Saudi, I’ve worked in the difficult Power & Desalination Plant environment and Oil refineries; Oil & Gas in Saudi Aramco, honing my skills and gradually improving my own understanding of modern healthy, safety, sustainability and environmental practices. In moving to Oman and in particular, working in a PDO (Petroleum Development of Oman) projects, EPC IWP projects and Sohar Refineries/ORPIC concession area, the standards required for HSSE are of the highest in the Middle East, I’ve adapted, implemented and incorporated Douglas OHI and PDO standards in everyday working activities with Oman.
