• Specify materials, pipe sizes and components suitable for the operational conditions (pressure, temperature, flow, etc).
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM).
• Supervise and monitor the fabrication and installation of piping systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Inspect and verify proper welding, alignment, and support structures during construction ensure all piping systems meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare technical documents, reports, and project progress updates.
• Maintain records of material specifications, test results, and as-built drawings.

• Re-viewing design layout drawings, isometric drawings, P&IDs and preparing scope for installation work packs.
