Through TPM Successfully Implemented Manager Model area approach across all 8 formulation Plants bringing back assets to OEM condition. Leveraging the operator's capability building to believe in I-Own, I-Operate and I-maintain my area Machines concept. Improving OEE of equipment, working towards Zero Breakdowns, Zero Quality defect and Zero accidents approach.

Improved productivity by 3X of the same assets. Basic asset care being done by operators in proactive way of abnormality identification, analysis and action plan mitigation to avoid future breakdowns,standardizing Changeover cycle times, adopting setting standards, Autonomous maintenance and Preventive maintenance standards.

• Received Special Recognition Award for comprehensive energy conservation program at Baxter global Energy convention in Austin, Texas in September 2004 among 77 plants all over world
• Replaced old reciprocating type chillers by new green series screw chillers to bring down power units per ton from 1.3 kw/ton to 0.75 KW/ Ton by annual saving recorded as Rs.8.5 lakhs.
• Specific studies carried out to handle air compressors, boilers and Dg sets to utilize in most efficient ways.
• Represented Formulation plants at CII energy convection and received energy excellence award for plants successively for three years.
• Being part of PACE initiatives drive the Energy Cost is being optimised through Innovative Energy conservative initiatives for Dr. Reddy's contribution came through optimising operations of fixed cost equipment, replacement of EC fans in AHUs, Introduction of online cleaning for Chiller condensers etc. This results into reduction of 22 to 30 % energy consumption
