• Complete admission process of students including form fillings, fees collection and room allotment
• Manage cleanliness by reviewing daily cleaning by staff in common room, toilets, and rest of the floor area.
• Periodically verify the furniture and fittings of the hostel and test their repair/replacement or for obtaining additional furniture.
• Looking after the common room and the sports and cultural programs of the hostel and regulate disbursements out of the hostel's recreation grant.
• Review and approve the bills prepared for purchase of Newspapers and Magazines.
• Arrange disposal of old Newspapers and Magazines and ensure that the sale proceeds are deposited in the appropriate head of account.
• Pursue, at appropriate level, all complaints relating to common room items like television.
• Responsible for all matters relating to hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness of the hostel in consultation with/ upon the advice of the Management.
• Supervise the work of the sanitation staff, keep a control over their attendance and maintain the Attendance Register.
• Take regular attendance of girls and seek medical service if required.
• Maintain discipline and take necessary actions for misbehavior
• Allocate Out Pass for girls if they wish to stay out of hostel on given day after seeking approval from parents
• Can handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Ensuring that a high level of care, health & safety standards are always maintained
