Packaging Development Intern - Havells India Ltd. (Lloyd Division) - Ghiloth Plant

Refrigerator Spare Packaging Development & Standardization: Led end-to-end development from scratch, including part code generation, fitments, BOM creation, and FPA submission.
Carton Spec and Print Optimization: Supported the transition from pre-printed cartons to unprinted semi-kraft corrugated boxes for AC and Washing Machine spares.
Transit Validation: Organized and executed physical stack load tests and drop tests to verify refrigerator packaging strength.
Unboxing Experience Design for Refrigerator (Self-Initiated): Independently developed and prototyped an easy-open packaging solution using filament tape, aimed at improving consumer unboxing experience, reducing opening effort, and enhancing packaging usability.
Vendor Management: Coordinated structural drawings, KLD specifications, and component sourcing directly with suppliers.
Cross-Functional Operations: Collaborated daily with IQC, Store, CRI, Production, Purchase, and PPC teams to manage workflows.
Transit Protection & BOM Management: Engineered AC compressor packaging (Carton + EPS) to resolve damage issues and managed BOM change notes.
In-House Printing Infrastructure: Headed the BEE label Zebra printing project; ran feasibility trials, resolved UV-coating label issues, co-developed PRN codes with the MES team.
