• Conducting inspection of all incoming raw material as per Nike, Puma, Lotto, Adidas, Reebok against inspection checklist to chuck out the substandard ones at initial stage itself.
• Performing 100% inspection and random inspection on a periodic basis and then giving the go ahead for production as well as managing the entire Q.I.P process.
• Developing samples as per buyer's approval and new development of samples. Keeping track of goods as per production planning of products and ensure timely delivery with desired quality.
• Analyzing, reviewing styles before production, providing technical solutions for the problems in styles and undertaking planning / execution of styles in factories.
• Managing QC aspects for fitting, sizing, finishing and making important decisions for their inspection pertaining to the quality aspects & informing the authorities about the same.
• Keeping the authorities appraised of the status of quality on different styles on a daily basis. Impressing upon the production department to rectify the weak areas & recurring defects before progressing.
• Assessing the status of quality & keeping the buyers updated about the same on a regular basis.
• Looking after all technical aspects of cutting, stitching, lasting, fitting, pasting & finishing of the footwear.
• Involve in production planning & scheduling, achieving daily production targets with respect to quality & quantity.
• Conducting production and manpower planning according to the dispatch order & production target.
• Managing overall plant operation to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within time & cost parameters.
• Ensuring the minimum down time in case of breakdown, preventive & scheduling maintenances.
• Scheduling material procurement plans, ensuring inventory of raw material to production is on schedule.
• Successfully coordinating with buyers and provided products in accordance with their requirements.
• Collecting and collating quality related data; generating periodic reports and carrying out value added analysis of the reports to identify quality issues and develop need-based rectifications.
