Achievements
Currently as Head of Engineering
- In Just 3 months of joining, lead the team to successfully deliver the beta version of the microfluidics device involving Bio Sensors, Firmware, Image Processing and AI/ML
- Suggested advanced features to be included in the Firmware of the device to increase reliability and increase functionality
As Head of Robotics & Advanced Automation
- Successfully designed and implemented a unique advanced picking/automatic sorting and placing PLC based solution for a warehouse
- Designed and developed a cutting-edge Drone and Vision Based Harvesting Device with a retractable robotic arm, using AI/Deep learning technology
- Set up the entire Robotics Lab space which includes Electronics Lab, Mechanical Lab and a Robotics Assembly and Testing Lab. Also hand-picked a 13-member team including specialists on Mechanical Design/prototyping, Firmware and AI/Deep learning
As Technical Product Research Lead
- Developed the entire Firmware and Electronics single-handedly, for the prototype of a 30kg Biryani making Bot. The entire SOP for the Biryani was automated for dispensing Rice and other ingredients including a 3-Axis Robotic Arm Spatula for the mixing of the Biryani rice after it was cooked.
- Developed the control system for highly reliable weight measuring subsystem, to accurately dispense ingredients of a noodle making and dispensing machine for ITC
- Came up with a unique patentable design and prototype to detect milk boiling levels in a coffee vending machine for Chayyos
As Chief Prototyping Officer
- Designed and Developed the Hardware/Electronics for a MEMs Based Digital Stethoscope
As Research Scientist
- Developed the complete firmware and Electronics for a Pick and Place Transporter Robot.
- Came up with a novel design and Prototype for an extremely low cost for an Angle of Attack (AOA) for ADA
- Led a team of 6 for a ‘Make in India’ Dialysis Machine – funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST)
- Invented the Prototype for Oxygen detection in a Welding Application for a German Client – Patent granted in India and UK
Career Goals
I am seeking opportunities to lead and drive R&D initiatives involving cutting edge and evolving technologies on Robotics (AMRs/Arms/Grippers)/ Medical Devices /Satellites/Drones. I am equally passionate about working as an Innovator / Inventor /Scientist / Researcher on new patentable ideas/products. I am also very keen and excited to explore and implement AI/Deep Learning with embedded technologies and Vision and Deep Learning based Robotics, to address and solve unique problems and challenges for commercial and industrial applications.
