BEADS Studio is invested in design exploration through Odisha's craft to incorporate them into contemporary lifestyle starting with ceramic products. As a Lead Designer, responsible to conduct research around Odisha's existing craft practices, devising art and design residency programmes & strategies to arrive at efficient design prototypes.

• Odisha Craft Odyssey (August 2024) - Joint curatorial programme lead by Julius Das, Shivdas Sengupta and Premjish Achari supported by BEADS and MGM Foundation. Three practitioners across art, design and research practices were selected to research and collaborate with the clusters of Kansari community (Bell Metal) in Balakati.

Disharee

Mathur (Designer), Kirti Kumari (Photographer) and Ritasban Ghosh (Artist, Researcher) were selected that culminated into a public display at Lalit Kala Akademi,

• Traversing Binaries (July 2023) - Collaboration with the Belgadia Palace and BEADS Studio.

Rohit

Kale was invited for a fifteen days long residency to explore the possibilities with Savai grass as material. The outcomes resulted into typo/text based work that is novel to the craft practice.

• Mukha (August 2023) - Invited paper mache artisan Kabita Maharana from Raghurajpur to understand the traditional mask making processes. The intention was to analyse the traditional technique to find its application in contemporary design innovation.
• One Wall - Design residency program initiated with the intention to activate dialogues around social, cultural and political 'Happenings'. Deriving inspirations from artists like Allan Kapprow and Tushar Joag.

Worked with three art and design practitioners: Anshuka Mahapatra, Tapan Maharana and Abhishekh Chakrborty.
