• Monitor and audit the entire TMT bar production process, including rolling, quenching, tempering, and cooling stages.
• Calibration of equipment to maintain dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties.
• Conducting regular inspections of raw materials (billets) for chemical composition and defects.
• Performing mechanical tests (Tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, Bend tests, rebend tests) on TMT bars.
• Using Laboratory equipments (e.g., universal testing machines, spectrometers, metallurgical microscopes) to analyze microstructure (tempered martensite, ferrite-pearlite).
• Checking surface quality for cracks, ribs, and scaling.
• Ensure adherence to national/international standards (e.g., IS 1786, BIS, ASTM, British Standard).
• Maintaining detailed records of test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
• Prepare quality certificates and mill test reports (MTRs) for customers.
• Investigate root causes of defects (e.g., dimensional inaccuracies, surface cracks, low ductility).
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues like improper roll gaps, uneven cooling, or incorrect quenching parameters.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
• Train production staff on quality standards, testing procedures, and defect prevention.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols (e.g., PPE, handling of hot materials).
• Coordinate internal/external audits (e.g., UK CARES, ISO 9001).
• Address customer complaints and feedback to enhance product quality.
• Third party Inspection.

• Monitoring & inspecting all the activities regarding manufacturing of forged rolls for cold rolling mills.
• Analyzing internal defects of our products & finding out its solutions.
• Handling SAP Data Entry - Rejection Booking, Preparing Test Certificate, etc.
• Horizontal and vertical centrifugal casting of high chromium and ICDP roll for hot rolling mill.
• Static casting of cast iron and steel roll for hot rolling mill.
• Preparation of charge mixture as per the specified chemistry for static and horizontal casting of cast iron, high chrome and steel roll.

• Regular Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic particle testing and die penetrate testing of forge steel, ICDP, High chrome rolls and qualify product for further operation.
• Regular basis TPM activity and six sigma project on quality issues.
