Application Engineer – Drives and Automation July 2021 – August 2024
- Calculation and selection of Motors, Drives, AC Load calculations, low and medium voltage switchgear systems, including related protective devices and relays, cables, electrical components, field devices, and associated accessories based upon application & design standards.
- Define automation architectures, hardware engineering, I/O selection, instruments, component selection etc.,
- Successfully commissioned and supported multiple automation systems including VFDs, PLCs, machine automation projects, and material handling systems like Rail guided vehicles, AGV, AMR across industrial plants.
- Startup and commissioning of VFD, Gearmotors at different customer locations.
- BOM creation for the electrical panels for the power and the control panels.
- PLC, HMI programming as per the customer requirement and do the installation and commissioning at the customer location, testing, and handover.
- Consult with cross functional team, Sales, Project, Commissioning and Service teams.
- Consult with other companies, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to support the Project execution.
- Provide Technical advice and assistance to sales.
Application Engineer – Projects August 2024 - present
- Project planning, product selection, and process design for plant and line automation initiatives, ensuring optimal integration of automation system.
- Understanding the customer project requirement though RFQ and application study at site and develop the project concept to meet the customer requirement.
- BOM creation for the project as per the requirement and do the costing and offering to the customer.
- Contributing to development of development initiatives to develop custom drive systems, battery, and BMS for optimized system design with increased performance and reliability.
