Experience (Up to 13 years) in Power Plant (Including AFBC, CFBC, GAS FIRED, WHRS(AQC), WHRB Boiler and Steam Turbine and 5 Years in TRT (Operation & Maintenance Department). Presently working as an Assistant Manager (O&M Department) at UltraTech Cement Ltd (Aditya Birla Group) responsible for the operation and maintenance of Captive Power Plant comprising 22.5 MW and 35 MW units, equipped with 110 TPH AFBC Boiler and 170 TPH CFBC Boiler, and management of Renewable Energy assets including 22 MW Wind Turbine, 13.8 MW Solar Power, and 8 MW Battery Energy Storage System.

Assistant Manager (O&M Department) - UltraTech Cement Ltd (Aditya Birla Group)

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Captive Power Plant comprising 22.5 MW and 35 MW units, equipped with 110 TPH AFBC Boiler and 170 TPH CFBC Boiler, which supply power to a 11,000 TPD cement kiln. Also oversee the operation and Maintenance of 2 × 16 TPH Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS) boilers (AQC) with a power generation capacity of 8.1 MW. In addition, manage Renewable Energy assets, including 22 MW Wind Turbine, 13.8 MW Solar Power, and 8 MW Battery Energy Storage System, ensuring optimized performance and seamless power integration with plant operations.

Senior Engineer (Operation and Maintenance Department) - Uttam Galva Metallics Ltd (now Evonith Metallics Ltd.)

Worked on a 15 MW Captive Power Plant with a 75 TPH Heat Recovery Gas Fired Boiler utilizing blast furnace and coke oven gas as fuel. Responsibilities included operation and maintenance of the power plant, as well as managing a 4.5 MW and a 2.5 MW Top Recovery Turbine (TRT) system that uses blast furnace gas as the working medium. Additionally, operated a 40 TPH AFBC Boiler supplying steam for turbo blowers.

Engineer (Operation Department) - Balaji Power Ltd (Hira Group)

The plant had an installed capacity of 8.5 MW, based on biomass fuel, and was equipped with a 40 TPH AFBC Boiler. Responsibilities included overseeing plant operations, performance monitoring, and maintaining process efficiency in daily operations.

Commissioning Engineer - Various

• Actively involved in the complete commissioning process of a 100 TPH gas-fired boiler. Scope of work included Refractory Dry-Out, Alkali Boil-Out, Acid Cleaning of pressure parts, and Safety Valve Setting.
• Overseeing erection, testing, and commissioning of the 4.5 MW Top Recovery Turbine. Responsibilities included installation of lube oil and power oil lines, turbine overhauling, system flushing, turbine rolling, and performance monitoring during trial runs.
• Actively involved in the complete commissioning process of a WHRS AQC Boiler of Capacity 2×16 TPH. Scope of work included Refractory Dry-Out through burner, Alkali Boil-Out, Acid Cleaning of pressure parts, and Safety Valve Setting.

Power Plant Operations - Various

• Managing the operation of AFBC, CFBC, WHRB, and Gas Fired Boilers, along with associated equipment such as ID Fan, FD Fan, PA Fan, SA Fan, and ESP.
• Ensuring safe and reliable execution of critical boiler activities, including Light-Up procedures and Hydraulic Tests.
• Actively involved in handling Boiler Light-Up operations, plant blackouts, home load transitions, and emergency situations.
• Responsible for turbine rolling and synchronization while maintaining key operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, and vacuum within specified limits.
• Preparing and implementing daily 24-hour generation reports covering Boiler Efficiency, Plant Heat Rate, Turbine Efficiency, Turbine Heat Rate, and Blowdown Percentage analysis.

Power Plant Maintenance - Various

• Implementing the PM (Planned Maintenance) Module in SAP to perform maintenance activities for each equipment efficiently.
• Identifying and analyzing equipment breakdown causes using tools such as FMEA, KPI analysis, RCA, and Fishbone Diagram to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
• Responsible for annual maintenance job planning, material forecasting, and preparation of the Annual Maintenance Budget and Plan.
• Ensuring timely availability of materials by raising PRs (Purchase Requisitions) in SAP, coordinating with the Purchase Department, and following up with vendors for on-time delivery.
• Reviewing and updating SOPs, SMPs, and HIRAC; maintaining maintenance schedules; and conducting training sessions to enhance operator and fitter awareness.
• Ensuring safety compliance during maintenance activities through proper Work Permits, daily Pep Talks, and mandatory use of PPEs for fitters, welders, and helpers.
