These competencies are supported by specialization in Engineering design, IT, Tool manufacturing, and metal machining. SMIEL is specialized in small and medium sized, high precision, surface critical Injection molded components and metal plastic assembled components, offering an extensive range of components and assemblies for automotive, white goods, Medical, Electronic industries etc. MSIL, HCIL, TKM, Ford were among the esteemed customers.

The company also specializes in manufacturing of wiring harness components for MSSL (India), SWS (Japan), SEWS (Hungary), Denso and various medical equipment. Plastic parts of wipro GE Medical system (Healthcare div.).

• Responsible for overall in process and final inspection activities of all in house manufactured parts in different stages of manufacturing such as Inj. molding, press, dip molding, assembly and leading a team of 20 people including Supervisors and Inspectors

• Preparation and reviewing various inspections standard (Recipt, inprocess PDI), Work instructions and implementing Engg. Change notes

• To plan corrective/improvement actions for moulds/Dies and their implementation in close coordination with Tool room, Molding shop, Press shop etc.

• To visit Sub-contractors for process audit of under development parts
• To resolve the internal concerns from assy. section and take containment and implementing permanent corrective measures
