- Responsible to conduct internal audit of 4 to 5 branches (Depending on the size) as per the tentative audit schedule.
- Responsible to verify end to end branch operating process by spending 6-7 days at each branch during regular branch audit.
- Physical Cash Verification-Cash in Hand and Petty Cash.
- Centre Meeting Visit.
- Client Acquisition Process-HV, CGT, GRT, Disbursement.
- Collection Process-Regular, Overdue, Advance.
- Verify/Inspect-Branch Asset, Branch Display, Notice Board and Stationery.
- Verify Register/File and offline documents-Petty Cash, Loan Document, Staff Movement Register, Internal Audit Report, Rent Agreement, Specimen Register etc.
- Check Branch Administration related issues, HR related issues, IT related issues and over all smooth functioning of the branch as per process & policy of the company.
- Quality in internal audit report writing and submission of the reports to their RAMs on time.
- Taking followup for timely closure of Internal Audit Compliance and other reverts.
- Cross check internal audit compliances submitted by the Ops team on regular course of audit of prior internal Audit observations and documented in the audit report with evidence.
- Report/flag off serious process violation and fraud event of the field on a regular basis to avoid/stop any kind of illegal or unethical activities running in the field.
- Gathering information on social performance management along with regular branch audit to observe the impact created by the company through its microfinance program by meeting customers, community members and also take staff Feedback on various issues and grievances.
- Provide periodic suggestion on Process/Gap improvements in audit process and template and best practice proposal in Business Process.
- Provide assistance and training to the newly joined members in the internal audit team.
- Consolidate Monthly MIS/Critical issue Reports and share to RM.
