Hello! I'm Kannan. 👋
MCA graduate with a software development background, currently working on a testing project and learning manual and Playwright Automation, moving into an entry-level QA Engineer role.
Before testing, I built full-stack web applications (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) during my .NET training at Besant Technologies, including a movie ticket booking system and an e-commerce front end. That experience taught me how bugs actually get created, which is exactly why I moved into QA.
Right now, I'm building my "QA foundation" through dedicated self-learning:
→ Manual Testing: Test case design, exploratory testing, and detailed bug reporting
→ Automation Testing: Building scripts with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver (Java)
→ SQL: Data validation and backend verification
I'm building hands-on testing projects, sharpening my skills on HackerRank, and pushing code to GitHub alongside my coursework.
I'm looking for my first full-time opportunity as a QA Engineer (Manual or Automation), ideally with a product-based or fast-growing startup in Chennai, where I can grow into an SDET / Test Automation Engineer.
