To provide ETHYL MERCAPTAN which use in LPG/CNG/PNG as smell detector pan India with the help of manpower and resources. Visiting customers like BPCL/HPCL/GAIL/ONGC/Adani/GGL etc… on site with positive attitude and doing work with safety and precaution while handling mercaptans without any issue is the main role.
- Responsible for odorant refilling activities at customer sites, mainly involving Ethyl Mercaptan / gas odorant chemical.
- Calibration of equipments like storage tanks, flowmeter, pressure gauges, SRV, with respect to their due date and providing valid certificates to customer as well as team.
- Handling safe transfer, loading, unloading, storage and refilling of odorant in tanks/vessels as per company SOP and customer site safety requirements.
- Managing site operations at odorant storage location, including inward/outward material movement, stock monitoring, safe storage and housekeeping.
- Maintaining proper storage of odorant drums/containers with labelling, segregation, ventilation and safety precautions.
- Inspecting odorant tanks, valves, hoses, pumps, fittings, gauges and transfer equipment before and after refilling work.
- Ensuring proper use of PPE such as chemical gloves, safety goggles, face shield, safety shoes, respirator/mask and protective clothing during odorant handling.
- Maintaining SDS/MSDS, spill kit, fire extinguisher, emergency contact details and other safety arrangements at site.
- Request for various types of quotation for any technical equipment and betterment in filling process.
- Vehicle readiness and dispatch/permits and certification of every using equipment while carrying out the operations.
- Coordinating with customers/site in-charges for work permits, toolbox talks, refilling schedules, job execution and work completion sign-off.
- Managing purchase coordination for odorant chemical, PPE, tools, hoses, valves, fittings and other operational materials.
- Collecting vendor quotations, following up for material delivery, checking invoices/delivery challans, and maintaining purchase records.
- Coordinating with transporters and drivers for safe dispatch and movement of hazardous odorant material to customer sites.
- Preparing and maintaining stock register, delivery challans, material issue records, refilling reports, inspection checklists, safety checklists and customer acknowledgements.
- Reporting leakages, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, stock status and daily/weekly operational updates to management.
- Supporting minor maintenance and troubleshooting of odorant refilling equipment and coordinating with vendors/maintenance team for major repairs.
