Equipped with 6 years of game development experience, I've had the privilege of being part of the creation process for 25+ games - each unique, each exciting. My portfolio showcases a diverse range, from the ambitious AAA mobile metaverse game, Altworld, to the thrill of 24 hyper-casual games, and a slew of innovative testing prototypes.
My journey began as a freelancer, providing me with an opportunity to work with esteemed companies like Crazylabs, Voodoo, Tap Nation, and Kwalee. My collaborations helped me to nurture my prototyping skills while also enabling me to work on an exciting range of projects from freelancer sites.
Following my freelancing tenure, I spent a year with Crikey, an Australian gaming company. Here, I was deeply involved in projects like Bracelet DIY (garnering 200K+ Downloads) and Item Match 3D (15K+ Downloads). My stint at Crikey not only solidified my grasp on teamwork but also highlighted the importance of rapid prototyping in the gaming industry.
Currently, I am a part of the groundbreaking team at Altworld. Being the first game developer to join, I've seen the company grow and evolve. This position has helped me navigate the challenges of larger projects and has taught me to write scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
My technical acumen is complemented by a strong grasp of game and level design, art, and lighting skills that I have found to be instrumental in my growth as a developer. I frequently engage in discussions related to art, color, and design, and enjoy lending my creative insights. My art portfolio, attached to this resume, showcases a variety of work that I am truly proud of.
As a game developer, I believe that learning isn't confined to formal education. This belief led me to step away from college in my second year of BCA, to focus more on self-education and my burgeoning career. Since then, I've been on a relentless pursuit to improve my skills and stay updated with industry trends.
Beyond the realm of pixels and code, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and delving into the worlds of spiritual and self-help books. Books like the Bhagavad Gita and Psychology of Money offer me new perspectives and personal growth. I see myself as a lifelong learner, always looking to expand my horizons and take on fresh challenges.
