Kumar (scientist). Gained hands on exposure to genetic improvement and quality enhancement of forest tree species, with a focus on Azadirachta indica (Neem) and Melia dubia.

• Received practical training in molecular biology techniques including DNA isolation, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, and DNA Barcoding for genetic analysis and species identification.
• The internship strengthened my understanding of applied genetics in forestry and enhanced my laboratory and research skills.
