Taught programming languages to diploma students, focusing on foundational concepts, problem-solving, and practical applications. Designed lesson plans, conducted assessments, and guided students in hands-on coding projects.
- Delivering lectures to the classes of Diploma Computer Science & Engineering [40 hours per week].
- Designing and teaching various computer courses by creating course outlines and writing instruction and review handouts for each of the different courses.
- Planning the course content and sequence of instruction for computer learner by finding the right combination of computer software, computer hardware, hands-on instructional materials, concepts and learning activities.
- Preparing lessons and learning plans according to the syllabus through instructional materials such as computer file, spreadsheet, word-processing document, database, PowerPoint presentation, web page, software program or video, as well as print materials such as curriculum guides, workbooks, textbooks and informational articles.
- Delivering lab work to diploma students to enhance their practical skills.
- Customizing the learning session to help the student achieve proficiency in using software.
- Inculcating students regarding note-taking, studying skills as well as test taking methods.
- Revising the syllabus in the mid and the end of term by conducting class tests, house tests and presentations.
- Monitoring the performance of students by their written tests, class behavior and practical skills.
- Assessing the progress of students as well as prepare a written report of students.
- Also responsible for computer lab management like installing, updating, customizing and removing software, protecting network security and performing repairs to machines.
