Research Intern – Mobile Edge Computing & Edge AI at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) (2026-06 – 2026-07)

• Designed and implemented a mobile-to-MEC distributed inference architecture where computation was divided between a mobile client and an edge-computing server.
• Developed a Split Feed-Forward Neural Network inference pipeline using Python, PyTorch, FastAPI, HTML, and JavaScript for client-side processing and real-time MEC inference.
• Implemented automated performance monitoring for latency, CPU utilization, RAM usage, communication payload, and estimated energy consumption.
• Compared split inference with full MEC inference, reducing average MEC processing latency from approximately 465 ms to 6.3 ms and transmitted payload from approximately 1.73 MB to 2.2 KB during experimental testing.

R&D Intern – UAV & Agricultural Drone Systems at Garuda Aerospace (2025-06 – 2025-07)

• Worked hands-on with agricultural UAV systems, supporting drone assembly, electronic hardware integration, testing, maintenance, and flight operations.
• Assisted in troubleshooting electronic and electromechanical UAV subsystems during prototype development and system-level testing.
• Contributed to Agri 2.0 R&D activities through practical prototyping, hardware checks, product refinement, and field-oriented testing.
