In the present research work, the medicinal plants of methanolic extract of Sida cordifolia and Boerhavia diffusa was investigated for its antioxidant and anti-cancer activities. The ethanolic and methanolic extract of the whole plants were subjected to qualitative and quantitative analysis of phytocompounds. The plants extracts were characterized using GC-MS and FT-IR methods.

The antioxidant potential of the plant of methanol extract was assessed using DPPH radical, hydroxyl radical, superoxide radical, ABTS free radical scavenging activities and total antioxidant capacity activity in comparison to the respective standard. The anti-cancer activity of the formulation was evaluated on cervical cancer cell line (HeLa). The cell viability of HeLa cells treated with plant extract of both Sida cordifolia and Boerhavia diffusa were separately measured using MTT assay and the apoptosis of low cytometry were examined.

The in-silico study of insights as computational molecular docking on high risk cervical cancer expression e7hpv protein against compound present in medicinal plants.
