I am working as a Senior Research Fellow (DST-SERB) in the Department of Civil Engineering at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, and pursuing Ph.D. in Microwave Remote Sensing (Thesis submitted). My research interest includes the application of multispectral and microwave models with emphasis on land degradation and desertification, soil contamination studies, and monitoring of vegetation. I have two years of experience in teaching as an Assistant Professor.
I am also equipped in the field of Remote Sensing and Geomatics for over three years with good exposure in commercial and Image processing packages like ArcMap and ERDAS, and Open-source packages like QGIS, and SNAP. The cumulative impact factor of my published articles (Q1 Journals) is around 42 in the last three years.
