Experience

Vice President – Operations & Projects (Unit-1&II) at Amit Metaliks Ltd. Durgapur (W.B.) under Amit Alliance Group (2025-05 – Present)

Project Overview:- 6 Stand Roughing (HV Mill )+10 Cont. Stands +6 Stand Block Mill (ARMECH) with 81mtr Cooling Bed, Air oil Lubrication throughout entire mill (REBS),Thermex System, Proposed Project:- 10Stand Wire Rod Mill with HSP Laying Head 90MPS.

Annual Production target and budget making for Melting & Rolling mill divisions.
Involved and contribute in strategic planning for operational expansions.
Ensures constant monitoring of production efficiencies in entire divisions and strives to achieve optimal operating performance and minimal down time.
Ensure proper emphasis to product quality and review/develop quality assurance sampling procedures.
Reviewing and maintaining effective inventory control system from inputs through to finished products.
Providing regular reports to Management which is relevant with the both of divisions.
Creating infrastructure, facilities & streamlining process flow for higher production.
Co-ordinate with procurement team to reduce procurement cost and delivery time.
Controlling and Stabilizing process to attain rated capacity throughput Minimizing Operational delays.
Ensure compliance to SOPs, Manuals & Work Instructions for production operations and create a disciplined, healthy and safe working environment for plant personnel.
Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System & Environmental Management System and OHSAS in the department.
Setting & achieving target production by maintaining operational discipline & Mill availability through Mech. / E & A maintenance activities, ensuring quality standards & timely dispatch of products. Ensuring the same by proper resource (Man/machine/material etc.) management, deployment, optimization etc.
Broad Knowledge & Experience in Rolling techniques /Advance Rolling Mechanism etc. / Resource Management etc..
Coordination with Higher management regarding technical & commercial related Discussion such As Daily progress report, approval for work planning, labor hiring, and contractor bill.
Coordination with all the departments regarding technical related discussion such As execution of the job, Drawing approval, site suitability etc.
Co-ordinate with Project Consultant & OEM Team for resolving the obstacles of the project.
Creating infrastructure, facilities & streamlining process flow for smooth operations.
Reviewing and maintaining effective inventory control system & optimum utilization of the available resources
