Kshitij Chitransh

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession based in India. I cleared CFA L1, and CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program and hold a B. Com(H) from the University of Delhi.

Prior to working independently in the fintech domain, I worked as an industrial trainee in equity research tracking the fintech industry with SMC Global Securities Ltd in Delhi, India. My earlier stint also includes working as an article assistant in Transfer Pricing and international tax at Nangia & Co LLP in Noida, India.

As a side hustle I work as an independent fintech consultant on Upwork where I made $5k+ in one year and helped my clients raise funds to the tune of $25k+ due to my interest in tech and blockchain.

Being fond of public speaking, I was selected as a delegate at the 33rd International CA Students Conference in Sri Lanka and also awarded as the best paper presenter by the Padma Shri CA T.N. Manoharan at the International CA Students Conference in Ahmedabad in Jan 2019 in front of 3000+ attendees. I am interested in the Spanish language and culture and hold a DELEA1 certification. In my spare time, I like to practice Spirituality and Astrology.

My most recent association was with SMC Global Securities Ltd. in New Delhi where I worked as CA Industrial Trainee with the equity research team.

My work primarily involved

• Assisting the retail equity research team in issuing research reports on market opening and tracking Asian and global markets, resulting in a 15% increase in client retention
• Building and updating financial models using valuation methods like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), NPV and NAV of 4+ companies in the fintech sector
• Provided support to the Corporate and Finance Strategy team by conducting moderately complex financial analysis and forecasting.

Prior to that, I started my CA articleship with Valueonshore Advisors in Gurugram and then switched to Nangia & Co LLP. My articleship exposure includes:

• Undertaking benchmarking studies for computation of arms’ length price for 12+ multinational clients and assisted the team in providing advisory services with regards to their internal transfer pricing policy and TP Report under section 92E of Income Tax 
• Assisting in the project on preparation of forms: Accountants Report-Form 3CEB and Master File Form 3CEAA Part A and Part B (Japan, China, etc.) and drafting articles on BEPS/DTAA for TP Taxsutra
• Assisted in research and documentation submission for various income tax authorities' assessments and appeals, providing support to the tax team

I am a chartered accountant (Nov 2022) and a B. Com Hons from the University of Delhi (2020)
