• Get the material checked as per supplier chaalan, invoice and PO check as per GST rules
• Provide feedback to purchase and quality department regarding material receipts
• Provide feedback to purchase department regarding shortage and excess of material
• Inspect received material from quality department
• Keep the material at correct location in stores and location wise as per system after quality approval
• Issue material to production as per requirement and communicate any discrepancies with production or management
• Conduct stock taking every week, monthly and yearly and maintain records
• Discuss material shortage with management and request purchase department to purchase materials like welding rod and consumable material
• Maintain the maximum and minimum level of stock
• Maintain all type of scrap storage in store department like end pics of welding rod and other consumables after use return received
• Implement inventory control procedure to minimize wastage of material
• Send material to jobworks after verification from production and store department and prepare challan
• Communicate with contractor regarding material discrepancies and target date confirmation
• Check the list of material availability and request purchase department for shortage material
• Collect material at one location and check as per list before sending to site
• Receive material from site closing, segregate and store at proper location
• Assist in material loading and unloading of store department
• Supervise store staff through training, motivating and evaluating performance
• Maintain store department 5S' on daily basis
• Execute any other work as per instruction of management
