Hello! I am recent graduate with a B.Tech in Information Technology from NIT Jalandhar and am actively looking for software engineering roles.

I enjoy building backend systems. Not because I know everything about them, but because I like figuring out how data moves, how requests are handled, and how systems hold up under pressure. That curiosity has driven most of what I have built, from an ML pipeline at Bharat Electronics Limited to a full stack MERN application to a booking backend focused on concurrency control using database-level transactions and row-level locking.

Outside of code I captained my college volleyball team, sketch, and read classical novels. I find that the same patience it takes to understand Dostoevsky is not entirely different from the patience it takes to debug a race condition.

AI/ML Intern at Bharat Electronics Limited (2025-06 – 2025-08)

• Engineered an end-to-end acoustic event detection system for defence surveillance, curating a composite dataset of 8,732+ labeled clips across 10 sound classes from UrbanSound8K and AudioSet to classify 3 security-critical event types (vehicles, aircraft, gunfire).
• Implemented an ML pipeline with preprocessing (log-Mel spectrograms) and augmentation (Mixup, SpecAugment), improving model robustness and generalization on noisy real-world audio.
• Applied transfer learning strategies, utilizing YAMNet as a feature extractor and fine-tuning AST, achieving about 93% classification accuracy with high recall for critical events.
