Role description: Beginning with indexing to processing the invoices and making it valid for payments, resolving the parked invoices and answering the emails and queries of the client within the turn-around time.
Project Details: Based on Accounts Payable dealing with invoices. It included the various stages involved in making the payment of an invoice received from a vendor:
- Receiving the invoice.
- Processing it in the system.
- Resolving the parked invoices, i.e. the invoices which are stuck due to some error.
The AP cycle was P2P and in order to validate the invoices and make it valid for payments 2-way matching was followed i.e. the matching of the invoice with the PO. Additionally, ICS (Inter Company Settlement) invoices were also processed during the month end closing.
Tools used: Itesoft FMFI, Itesoft Share, GFS Oracle R12 and GPS (Global Procurement System).
