Mechanical/Product Design Engineer with 8+ years of experience in automotive product development, specializing in CATIA V5/V6, UG-NX, CREO, PLM and BOM management. Experienced in chassis, BIW, engine mount and automotive component design, including 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T, packaging, DFM/DFA, design release and assembly development. Hands-on experience in PLM activities, BOM creation and maintenance, part release, ECR/ECO, APQP grid management, DFMEA, design change management and engineering data management.
Strong understanding of design-to-manufacturing processes and cross-functional collaboration with design, CAE and manufacturing teams. Experienced in supporting automotive programs from concept development through design validation, release and production, with knowledge of design optimization, tolerance stack-up and structural analysis.
