• Production of Pithplus- fungal decomposer to cater the supply to the manufacturers of Coir pith organic manure. (Coir/Agri/Horti sector)
• Transferring of eco-friendly technologies developed by the board through in-house and field demonstrations of production of Coir pith organic manure (biofertiliser)
• Chemical analysis of Coir pith
• Providing QA certification to the coir pith products by implementing GLP
• Testing for the samples of coir pith & decomposed coir pith received from the coir industries
• Internal calibration of instruments
• Verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports for regulatory authorities
• Preparation of standard operating procedures for the analysis of samples as per Indian standard
• Maintenance of laboratory records as per IS 17025
• Equipments handled: pH meter, EC meter, Salinity meter, Moisture analyzer, Flame photometer, Laminar Air Flow, Muffle furnace
