I am a MEP Project Manager. I have 6 years experience in India and 8 years experience in Qatar .
Involvement in all MEP & Interior design discussions, DBR finalization, and works execution. To make sure proper design coordination is achieved before the commencement of work. Collecting GFC drawings from consultants before starting work.
Ensure that contractors prepare shop drawings and obtain approval from MEP/Project Manager/Architect before executing the job. Facing challenges from clients for critical activities, taking approvals for additional activities, and quantity certifications. Lead and Communicate with Field Supervision, Subcontractors, and Vendors to assist them in working to the Project Schedule as it pertains to MEPs Administer financial aspects of the Owner’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders Build effective working relationships with clients and the project team members Project Start-Up Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project milestones in conjunction with Project Lead Create a schedule of values and project logs, and plan for project safety and mobilization, including review and validation with team members
