Mathew Collins

I am a film institute educated cinematographer, assistant cinematographer with a set of skills applicable across different industries and roles. I worked in Documentaries for 1 year, until making a total career change into Feature films and Advertisements as an assistant cinematographer and third operating cameraman.

Being a flexible artist, innovative team member with strong analytical skills, I continuously improve technical knowledge. Having hands-on, progressive experience in feature films, commercial advertisements and documentaries, I can craft and shoot projects independently. My experience behind camera and aesthetic knowledge of film making led me partially into academia.

Effective communicator with an impeccable track record of well-honed skills, I cultivate relationships with across all departments in film production and motivate colleagues to implement projects to deliver objectives effectively.
