- Performed flange integrity inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, and client requirements.
- Carrying out the inspection activities as per I.T.P and relevant codes and standards.
- Pre visual Inspection of all equipment's like pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers etc.
- Internal and external inspection of equipment like heat exchangers (Shell & Tube, AFC, Pressure vessels, heaters and piping as well as per static inspector.
- Conducting Corrosion under insulation (CUI) inspection.
- Witnessing Hydro and Pnematic Nitrogen Leak testing of Static Equipments like Exchangers.
- Inspected vessel internals, trays, distributors, demisters, support rings, and exchanger tube bundles for proper installation and alignment
- Inspection after Cleaning/Chemical Cleaning, & list out the repair activities in accordance with procedures and standards.
- Witnessing Like RT, DPT, ECT, Fit up and weld Visual inspection, PMI, and welding Inspection.
- Thickness survey activities for Piping, Exchangers and Pressure Vessel, AFC and Corrosion Loop and comparing with previous thickness.
- Visual inspection corrosion/failure pattern all types of refinery equipment necessary NDT for evaluation and provided short term and long-term solutions.
- Inspection of gaskets installation, pipe supports, valves installation and control valves prior to line re instatement as per the latest ISO.
- To identify products and materials and specifically in the case of alloy steels through Positive Material identification as per the applicable drawings and specifications.
- Monitoring welding processes with pre and post weld heat treatment process requirement as per codes and drawing.
- Responsible for all welding activities such as joint preparation, joint fit-up, root pass, hot pass, capping and documentation of weld & welders as per Standards.
- On process inspection during welding like interpass temperature & interpass cleaning.
- Carrying out the welding Inspection before, during and after welding as per approved test plan, approved drawing, standard and project specification.
- Witnessing of Magnetic Particle Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing as per ASME SecV.
- Witness for welder qualification test
- Documenting NDT, PMI PWHT, HT and material traceability summary.
- Find out essential places for Blinding/ spading for equipment isolation and monitoring of its activities with supervisors. Making of detailed Inspection and testing plans in discussion with client.
- Inspection after repair/alterations in Heat Exchangers like Tubes, Tube sheet change, nozzles replacement.
