The HSE/SAFETY Officer acts in an advisory capacity to the management & Supervision with regards health and safety Environment.

• Daily site observation and find out unsafe acts or unsafe conditions if any And implement corrective actions required.
• Investigation for accident/incident activities and prepare its records.
• Conduct Gas Test to ensure sufficient Oxygen percentage and absence of toxic, Flammable and hazardous gases in confined spaces before work start.
• Monthly inspection of fire extinguishers and to get conformation of proper tag and its validity.
• Fire fighting training & fire extinguishers inspection.
• Check and verify if works permit/lifting permits obtained and approved/valid for the specific lift to be done, and check operator & Rigger are certified with third party certification (TUV).
• Checking proper installation of scaffolding.
• To conduct TBT (tools box talk) before start of every job, to improve safety awareness of work force to complete the job without any incident. Conduct Safety Orientation to all workers.
• Implementation of safety standard and practices on site and work permits procedure.
• Checking and monitoring the scaffolding tag system.
• Check and verify that all lifting tackles and crane are inspected and approved for the lift.
• Scaffolding inspection to insure that they are made as per the applications standard and specifications.
• Inspection of all safety equipment such as P.P.E, safety harness fire extinguisher etc. to ensure their reliability.
• Inspection of all hot work places to ensure that the hot work is done in strict compliance of the
• Conduct Mock Drill to all workers and staff regarding the emergency evacuation procedure.
• Watching the areas where X-Ray tests and radiographic conducted.
• Monitoring the areas where hydro test and pneumatic tests conducted.
