Clinical Prosthetist and Orthotist at KARE PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS (2025-11 – Present)

• Comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patient assessment including biomechanical evaluation, ROM, muscle power, gait analysis.
• Lower limb prosthetics: Transtibial and transfemoral prosthetic assessment, measurement, socket fitting, static and dynamic alignment, component selection and functional gait optimization.
• Lower limb and spinal orthotics: AFOs, KAFOs, knee orthosis, foot orthosis and spinal orthosis including casting, measurement, fitting and alignment
• Device review, modification, pressure management and outcome based follow up in line with evidence-based practice
• Clinical documentation and care planning.

Prosthetist and Orthotist at THE LEPROSY MISSION HOSPITAL PRAYAGRAJ (2023-09 – 2025-09)

• Evaluating patients for sensory loss, weakness and deformities caused by leprosy.
• Identifying signs of foot drop, claw hand and other deformities to prevent further complications
• Designing and fitting prosthetic limbs for patients who have undergone amputations due to complications like ulcers and infections. Ensuring prosthesis are durable and catered for patient needs. Maintaining case records.
• Designing and fitting custom orthosis such as foot braces, splints and moulded insoles. Providing specialized footwear to reduce pressure on insensitive feet and minimizing the risk of wounds. Creating upper limb orthoses to support weak or deformed hands and improve function.
• Teaching patients how to use and maintain their orthotic/prosthetic devices. Providing gait training to improve mobility. Educating about skin care, ulcer prevention and stump care to avoid further complications.
• Working with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists to provide holistic care.
• Tracking materials and ensuring supplies. Assure quality control
• Developing cost effective orthotic and prosthetic solutions tailored to the needs of leprosy patients. Exploring new materials and technologies to improve device comfort and durability.
