Operating Room Technician has extensive knowledge of surgical instrumentation and operating room equipments , machines and procedures.Responsible for the care and handling of all surgical instruments, sterile stock, linen, supplies and equipment in line with competencies. Any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor that you are capable to perform. Set up instrument wash room with distinct areas for clean and dirty. Possesses excellent preparation listening and communication skills

Works well as a part of the operating room team
Prepares and sets up operating rooms and instruments for surgery
Quickly selects proper surgical instruments and hands them to surgical staff
Excellent listening skills and the ability to take direction
Understands all operating room procedures
Strong knowledge of patient care techniques
