I have a solid foundation in machine learning acquired through academic coursework and practical projects. One notable project I worked on was "Real-time Object Detection and Automatic Bill Generation of Indian Food Cuisines" during my research internship at the National Institute of Technology Raipur. Leveraging deep learning models YOLOv5 and YOLOv8, I achieved impressive precision rates of 95.7% and 98.2%, respectively.
Collaboratively, we developed a GUI application using Python's Tkinter, Ultralytics, and PIL libraries to streamline bill generation with real-time data processing. This solution addressed the manual labor involved in bill preparation, reducing it by 95%. My tech stack included Python, computer vision tools (OpenCV, TensorFlow), PyTorch, Git-GitHub, and data preprocessing techniques.
